Speakers: Corey Davis, BSN, RN, and Cambria King, CRS

Objectives:
Identify treatment options for opiate use disorder (OUD) in the perinatal period.
Summarize the effects of medication for opioid use on the mother-baby dyad throughout the perinatal period. Recognize principles of harm reduction and ways to incorporate them into clinical practice. Describe ways to interact with patients and their support persons in a way that is non-stigmatizing and empowering of their recovery.

Program Fees: AWHONN/PCEO Members and students: $20 Non-Members: $30 Fee includes registration, dinner, and contact hours. PCEO has graciously agreed to subsidize this event to support the nursing profession and their dedication to this important topic.
